Public Information Subcommittee

Our Public Information Committee Members observe our 12 Traditions while interacting with the Public to provide accurate information about who we are and who we serve.

Our 6th Tradition Reminds us that When we take care to observe our boundaries, our outside relationships enhance our ability to carry the message to the addict who still suffers rather than diverting us from our primary purpose.

Our 11th Tradition States: “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always
maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films. ”

As NA groups, service boards, and committees, we deliberately and energetically cultivate good public relations, not as an incidental result of our normal activity but as a way to better carry our message to addicts. […] Public anonymity helps keep the focus of our public relations on the NA message, not the PI workers involved.

Come attend PR to learn how to carry the message to our community, that Narcotics Anonymous offers a new way of life to the suffering addict.

Twin Rivers NA Drag Show
Mar 5 @ 6:00 pm – Mar 6 @ 12:00 am

First 100 people at the door will receive a cool goodie bag! So show up early!

This is a Narcotics Anonymous event meant for Narcotics Anonymous members. Under no circumstances are the press permitted at this event. For information about NA for the public, please visit NA.org.

Presale Tickets Help Us Fund The Event! Early Ticket purchase is encouraged to ensure we plan enough food for everyone!

There is ample parking. GPS directions are user friendly. Contact Twinriversna@outlook.com with questions.

You don’t have to dress in drag – but it’s certainly not discouraged! Glam up or come as you are!

This is an all-inclusive NA event for the purpose of coming together in unity.

Any funds raised by this event will go back to the Twin Rivers Area Service Committee to help carry the message locally, and down the service chain to further carry the message of recovery around the world.

Our message is simple: An addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.

Smoking allowed outside and AWAY from the door. Please clean up after yourself. It is essential that we leave facilities in good condition so we may be invited back in the future!
